Playground tiles are made of rubber granules that are bonded together. The system will not be seamless, but still has the lowered maintenance properties of a unitary surface. Benefits to tile are that it may be easier to repair or replace a tile than a poured surface in the long run, and it does not require a factory trained installer. Some of the tiles we have today are the toughest resilient play surface available.
